Introduction
Knowledge is said to be taken from the hearts of scholars, not the pages of books and this is the core of Traditional Halaqa, a course which, since 2002, has been bringing Muslims in the west into contact with scholars who are the living vessels of wisdom.
We aim to provide access to obligatory sacred knowledge and an introduction to additional religious sciences to english speaking Muslims who have limited access to teachers. This will be provided by teachers from the orthodox way of Islam.
Our aims:
- Inspire love for Allah, His Messenger (peace be upon him) and the Religion.
- Motivate students to live according to the Sunnah.
- Equip students with knowledge of the central elements of the Religion.
- Inspire students to take up further studies with authentic traditional Scholars.
